HouseCalls™
This is an opportunity for small groups of friends, families, church groups, clubs to meet with Dr. Tilli to discuss health and wellness in an intimate setting – your living room! It’s called HouseCalls™ because Dr. Tilli actually comes to your home or church or wherever you want to gather. In her many years of practice, she has found that there most people would rather discuss health challenges such as diabetes, hypertension, weight management and menopause in a small group setting rather than at a large seminar or conference. In this safe, non-threatening environment, it gives everyone the opportunity to ask their own questions as well as benefit from the discussion generated by the questions of others in the group. The group decides what the topic will be!
Patient Navigation
This passion was fueled by the personal experience of caring for her mother during a long terminal illness, where Dr. Tilli realized how difficult it must be for a lay person to “navigate” the labyrinth of the health care system to support their loved ones. To that end, she trained and managed Patient Navigators and Community Health Workers because she was convinced that they could play an integral role in supporting better health outcomes in our underserved communities.
Stress Management
With more than 20 years of practice, Dr. Tilli knows the adverse role that stress plays as it exacerbates dis-ease and lessens the quality of our lives. Dr. Tilli has been training patients, parents and students to practice stress management techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, mindfulness and yoga to help relieve stress and create more peaceful lives.
